Five years ago/software engineering
I was on the South Mall* of the University of Texas throwing a frisbee with Nate Curs to celebrate our impending graduation. It was something we'd both said we always wanted to do before we finished. It was a good time and the kind of thing I wish I'd taken more time for all the years I was here.
Just a few minutes ago I walked back by that spot, on my way to the UGL to study for my first round of finals as a grad student. Funny how five years can seem both so short and so long ago.
*Technically, it was the west flagpole just south of the Tower, but who would be that precise?
Posted by tkaspar at May 14, 2004 06:04 PMi hate walking around on campus anymore because i get pissed off at the stuff i never bothered to do while i was there. like frisbee on the south mall, getting my ass stomped in bball by a bunch of asians at gregory gym and stalking thetas as they walk back to their house.

One of the things on my list that I still have to check off is playing guitar on the drag. It's sad when I feel I need to practice in order to be good enough to do that.
Have you made your final choice for law school yet? Perhaps there's someone you can stalk there.
