Friday Five/random thought
1. What is your favorite type of literature to read (magazine, newspaper, novels, nonfiction, poetry, etc.)?
I don't think magazines and newspapers really qualify as "literature", but they're not my favorite so I guess it doesn't matter.
I prefer fiction, mostly horror and science fiction. I also like a good collection of short stories or novellas.
2. What is your favorite novel?
The Stand, by Stephen King
3. Do you have a favorite poem? (Share it!)
No, I'm not much into poetry. ee cummings does some good stuff, but I'm not going to hunt it down for the sake of this post.
4. What is one thing you've always wanted to read, or wish you had more time to read?
I wish I had more time to read period. I spend so much time surfing that I don't read books near as much as I used to. Probably my number one desire is to spend more time doing Bible study, followed by finishing the LOTR series.

Hey, if you like science fiction, have you read any of the Ender books? I must recommend them to anyone who reads sci-fi. Read them all, seriously. Ender's Game seriously changed my life.
Maybe you've already read them all...but I'll do anything to spread the Ender-love. ^_^
I haven't, and I'm ashamed.
I told my main sci-fi/fantasy source that I hadn't, and she was ashamed for me too.
I've read the short story version in a Card collection, but haven't gotten around to the series yet. I really should return Stacey's LOTR before I borrow another full series from her. :)
